| The Fredericton City Old Boys Soccer Club entered a team into the Bridgewater Over 45 Tournament again this year. There were 6 teams participating in the tournament. (Fredericton Old Boys, Bridgewater, Paddy's Pub - Dartmouth, New Ross - Halifax, Sporting Rangers - Dartmouth, and Whitby - Ontario). The Old Boys' tied Sporting Rangers (Dartmouth) 1-1 and defeated New Ross (Halifax) 4-0 finishing first in their division during Saturday play. They played Wihtby (Ontario) in the cross over game Sunday morning but lost 1-0. Alan Roy, Co-Team Manager, said the guys played very well. Wolfgang Steffe was the other Co-Team Manager. |
