| The Fredericton City Old Boys Soccer Club entered a team into the 2014 Bridgewater Over 45 Tournament again this year. There were 5 teams participating in the tournament. (Fredericton Old Boys, Bridgewater, Paddy's Pub - Dartmouth, New Ross - Halifax, Billerica - Boston, USA). The Old Boys won their first 3 games (6-0 against Paddy's pub, 6-1 against New Ross, and 5-1 against Bridgewater) and lost 3-0 to Billerica in the final. Billerica won the tournament edging out the Old Boys by 1 point. Alan Roy commented that he has participated in the Bridgewater Tournament with the Old Boys for the past 18 years and he believes this was one of the stronger teams we had sent to the tournament. The Old Boys have won the tournament only twice but have been runners up many times. It was a hot but fun tournament and the Old Boys should be proud of their efforts.
